So you made the commitment, you are a professional case manager.  Perhaps you have studied, prepped and sat for the CCM(R) exam and now you have passed-you are a CCM. Your hard work and commitment to case management is something you can proudly display after your name. Your employer, colleagues and clients recognize you as a leader. Our CCM(R)s told the Commission they wanted CECs¬-and we heard them! The Commission has a pre-approval process for continuing education (CE) programs that will meet the requirements for our board-certified case managers called PACE. Organizations that provide CE are encouraged to seek pre-approval of their programs, which signifies to all our board-certified case managers that the programs are approved to use toward meeting the requirements of their certification renewal.
